JOSÉ GONZÁLEZ-MAZUREK
Founder & Principal
Born in Mexico and raised in Central California, José has called Minnesota home for the past 15+ years. He boasts more than a decade of experience in commercial and residential design. He’s known for his calm, steady hand throughout the design process and dedication to ensuring clients enjoy a seamless experience and final result.
Rather than focusing on items of a specific time or style, José mixes warm modern with clean, tailored lines, rich textures & patterns, and pieces crafted by independent makers. Endlessly inspired by his travels—notably Mexico, Spain, and Denmark—he blends varied cultural influences, mixing vintage & antique pieces, and distinctive artwork into all his projects.
Before opening his interior design studio, José led the wholesale division of a major furniture manufacturer, gaining expertise in product development and market trends. He currently lives in South Minneapolis with his husband and young son.
